Scene of Rowe Boulevard in Annapolis looking toward the Department of Natural Resources. Rowe Boulevard is the road which is on axis with the Maryland State House. I saw this image when I was riding my bike one early Spring evening. I was on the side of the street of the Maryland Archives which faces the Department of Natural Resources. The setting sunlight, shimmering through the trees and onto the hostas growing on the median strip, is the inspiration for this piece.
